Thickness Colour Code (see A1 BS EN 12588; 2006 A1), (expressed in mm to 6.00 mm)

  • Install inline with the UK National metric Standards BS 6915.
  • National House Builders Council (NHBC) approved.

How to order - by the roll

Specify:

  • The Colour Band as per BSEN 12588:2006
  • The thickness (example 2.00 mm)
  • The length in either 3 or 6 metre lengths
  • The width (example 600 mm).

Note: Width - Minimum 100 mm to maximum 1350 mm 

Example: Red, 2.00 mm x 6 mtr x 600 m

 

Note: Barmark Free is a standard.

  • Manufactured to BSEN 12588: 2006
  • All products are cut flat to achieve a Barmark free finish 
  • All standard sizes are available 

Lead rolls will be wound with the identifying colour band with a label that clearly identifies a products thickness.

12000 kg delivered to 1 destination

 

All sizes under 12588 available.

 

We will offer commentary on the metal markets, if you wish.

 

Note: Full load quotations are based upon the London Metal Exchange (LME) and currency exchange rates, both of which fluctuate. Material is sold in rolls and by theoretical weight. Weights tolerance as defined by BSEN 12588:2006.


Performance as set out in 12588:

 

The performance of a building element made with these products depends not only on the properties of the product as required by 12588, but also on the design and quality of the fabrication of the building element and on the design, construction and behaviour of the part of the building concerned in relation to the environment and conditions of use.

 

The lead sheet supplied shall be specified and used according to the National Code of Practice, depending on service conditions such as exposure to direct sunlight and the area of the piece of lead to be fixed.
