Marketing:

We hold personal data relating to your and/or your businesses historic interest in obtaining information relating to construction products and related construction market innovations. This data allows Abbey Metals to communicate information to improve our products and services.

 

We may send promotional emails regarding new products, specific to areas of interest (if known) or general construction information (if not known).

 

For this purpose, the data we hold (but not exclusively) includes:

  • Contact names
  • Physical Addresses
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Interest information – Relating to particular interests that you and/or your company may have previously expressed an interest (e.g. Lead sheet cladding).

We use GDPR compliant MailChimp as our partner for sending email marketing material. Recipients can unsubscribe or update preferences by clicking the links available within our emails.

 

Trading:

For customers, in addition to the above, we will also store:

  • Financial information/bank details
  • Key personnel details
  • Multiple site information

Only customers, or those that ask to become a customer; verification information may be shared with credit check agencies for bad dept protection. Customer information will be shared with HMRC for us to fulfil our legal obligations.

 

AMT financial data is encrypted using industry-standard data encryption, multiple layers of firewalls. All access to data centres and servers is controlled and monitored 24/7, with regular security audits.
